When designing for this winter styled shoot, and I wanted to do something that was a challenge for me. I am working on my painting skills and I have never really painted florals so I thought it would be a fun time to practice. I also wanted to do a grungy calligraphy style to offset the soft florals. I chose a dusty blue for the color because of the season and thought it gave it a bit more of a winter feel. I loved the color palette of this shoot and am obsessed with the way it turned out.
