This has taken me forever to put up but it was a great learning project for me and now I can show you. Hungry Runner Girl is actually a friend of mine from highschool who started a blog about running and recipes. After a baby girl, purchase divorce and a move back to Utah she decided to do it full-time and voila here she is today. Her story is so inspiring and she posts very consistently (unlike me) which is really nice for people who love reading blogs. She lives in Utah and runs a ton of marathons, physician its kind of her thing.
As for the design part, viagra I wanted to clean the whole thing up. Since she is a single mom and she needs to have some advertisments in order to pay the bills, I tried to find a way to naturally incorporate them and make them look more like part of the blog than having it be dominating with ads. (I have a before and after below). She has so much talent and her market is very wide so I kept the design very clean with a touch of personality in the logo. She loves recipes and eating sweets so the little bite out of the circle was a fun touch. I also designed a few tanks for her that are so fun and clever, I posted one above.
She was so easy to work with and so positive when developement got sticky, which I find out everytime that it always does. Things are never as smooth as you plan and so its nice to work with someone who is flexible with that. Overall I think it was a success! The new look is so fresh and modern that she can change it easier and still keep it looking updated over the years without a total overhall. Feel free to check her out even if you are not a runner…lots of inspiring words come out of this lady. I am so proud of her for the strong woman she is and how she has made her trial into a strength.
