I am actually using WordPress with a purchased template. I was using blogspot but it doesn’t have as much functionality as wordpress. I never had any security issues with blogspot at all and I haven’t had any problems yet with wordpress but I have only had this blog for a few months. I have used Squarespace, which is really nice but the pricing didn’t make it worth it to me. Hope this helps.

I am still new also, but I am really glad you like my blog. I am a designer so to me visual is most important but I am learning that what you have to say is equally important. I am currently looking for lots of collaborative projects with other bloggers which is helping me learn a ton about this whole world. Most of all I just enjoy posting even if no one reads it.
