Hello my people. We have been so busy lately and I haven’t been posting much but I wanted to give a happy little update. I have been working on some exciting projects and preparing them to put on my blog and in my portfolio. Most of them are branding and I am learning so much and really trying to push myself to come out with new things. Our house now has the basement poured and I look at it everyday. I still have no idea what everything will really end up looking like but I am sure it will be just fine for our first house.
Tyler and I have been sick this weekend and I have never had so much fun with him. We sleep, we talk, we sleep some more and then we jus two nothing together and it makes me so happy. I honestly love him more and more everyday, I am so grateful for a marriage that makes me smile and fulfills my life. I know he will be an amazing father because of his dedication to me, and the fact that he is obsessed with children, bonus!
I have been writing a short story that at some point I will have the courage to post. I am not a very good writer but I have great story ideas and I love to share them, just ask my family. Through this process I am re-educating myself on literature and history, since it is a historical fiction placed in the time of the Salem Witch Trials. I love learning about history and this subject is very fun and mysterious to me, and perfect for the season with Halloween right around the corner. Anywho, I thought I would also give a few reviews on some things I have been into lately.
BOOKS
The Scorch Trials by James Dashner, is the second book in The Maze Runner series. The movie just came out and was really interesting so Tyler and I have decided to start reading it together.
MOVIES
The 100 Foot Journey – This movie was so much more interesting than any foodie movie out there. It had amazing food, sexy actors and a great love story, which is what really got me. I would definitely recommend this movie to people of all ages.
Dracula Untold – Well it didn’t get the best reviews but I was obsessed!!! This is soooo my kind of movie, a hot guy and a beautiful princess with the original vampires and deep love. No cheesy Jacob and Edward fights, just sexy people and beautiful cinematography. The costumes and lighting of the overall picture was phenomenal. I needed this to bring me back to true vampires and who better to do it with than Luke Evans!
MUSIC
Sam Smiths remix with A$AP Rocky is literally on repeat when I design. Its Sam’s sexy style with a bit of hip hop mixed in adding a little extra spice to the song. Love this.
Alica Keys, We are here is a like the new version of Black Eyed Peas Where is the Love , both musical political peace treaties flowing into our ears. I love these kind of songs because I don’t really keep up with world news and songs like these help you remember how lucky we are to have the lives we have. A little reminder of how we can be better people as we jam in the car.
Beautiful Tragedy by Mike Dignam is my slower jam this week. Its very pretty with piano and a nice ballad. A love song about two people meeting in a beautiful tragedy. Ahhh love <3
